Greetings and salutations,
I’m Cairn Liminal, also known as the daemon bard. I enjoy traveling the Open Road and studying cultures around the world, both past and current.
I am not able to travel as much as I would like. Theodore, my Wondering Wanderer, is getting ready to travel proxy in my place soon.
Commonly asked questions
What kind of name is Cairn Liminal?
Cairn means rock pile or stacked stones. There are many names for them. They are often used as tail markers or burial sites.
Liminal refers to liminal spaces, such as train stations, airports, and office buildings. These are in-between spaces or spaces that people travel through to get from one destination to another.
Cairn Liminal is not my real name.
Aren’t demons evil?
Not really. Demons have literally been demonized over the centuries. Daemons originated from Greek Mythology, and many were akin to guardian angels. Only cacodemons were considered troublemakers. However, several centuries ago, someone decided that anything not explicitly mentioned in certain books was deemed evil and malicious. Some claim that ‘demons’ are the devilish ones and ‘daemons’, with an a, are the ancient Greek ones. I accept either spelling.
What is a Wondering Wanderer?
To wonder is to be curious about something. To wander is to explore. A Wondering Wanderer is a proxy wanderer for someone who can’t travel as much as they would like.
